Project #1: The Accord That Started It All
Every business has a first client — mine just happened to live down the hall.
My roommate’s Honda Accord was the very first car to roll through NABER’s books (if you can count “let me borrow it for a few hours and I’ll make it shine” as a booking).
Now, she hasn’t exactly written me a check with her name on it — but in a similar way, she’s been my number one investor. From sharing groceries when times were lean to covering small things that helped me get NABER moving, she’s supported this business in ways no balance sheet could capture.
The wash itself? Classic daily driver grime — a little coffee spill here, a few fingerprints there, and the kind of dust that says, “I’ll get around to it eventually.” By the time it was done, the Accord looked like it was ready for a new lease on life.
And here’s the fun part: every time I work on her car, I’ll share a new piece of her story. Because just like NABER, the Honda isn’t just about the shine — it’s about the people who keep it running.
